Some friends and I were able to experience a particular adventure: the design of experiences at the "Chalk around the Block" competition at Northeastern University, in which we put into practice an interactive design for students to have a grand time. The idea was to engage students to play “Hopscotch”, which Jeremy Brodeur, Sylvia Zepeda and I designed only using chalks on the floor. What made the difference though is that people had to leave a mark or drawing after jumping.
As a result, we attracted around thirty-five students to jump while being their own agents in deciding which paths to take within the framework of the big Hopscotch that we created for them. We realized too, that they were not only playing,  they were flying back in time remembering their childhood, stopping their daily routines and bringing back happy memories (as their drawings showed at the end). Together, we contributed to a mini PopUp space.
We were interacting with students, and with them, we were creating a new space of situated actions to develop their own experiences.
