My Design Manifesto:
“I do solemnly swear that I will, to the best of my ability, preserve, respect, protect and enhance human dignity above all. For human dignity remains as the grounding principle of design.
I will always practice empathy, for empathy makes us connect with the communities we seek to serve, to better address solutions to their problems.
I will design experiences that people connect with, memorable moments that will help people remember the beauty of being humans.
I will remember that design builds our culture and our culture informs our design, thus, I shall always be aware of the importance of my work, while remaining humble and thoughtful.
I shall not falsify or mislead any design to suit monetary gains. I will always remember that I design to make people’s life better, to help the environment, to make the world a better place.”
I am a business and design strategist. I hold a Master of Fine Arts in Experience Design from Northeastern University. I received my bachelor's degree from Universidad de Lima, Peru in Business Administration and Management, and have postgraduate studies in Sales and Marketing and Consumer Psychology, as well as a Management Certificate from Harvard University. My career has taken me to work in countries all over the world (Peru, England, USA) and gain experience in many areas: design, marketing, education, HR, customer service, and mass consumption. These experiences sparked my passion for understanding people and helped me develop a human-centered approach which led me to the field of Experience Design. I'm driven, proactive and creative, and love traveling, music, getting to know other cultures and understanding and embracing our differences.
I'm passionate about making the world a better place by designing for conversations and experiences that make a difference.
